i have a soft spot for my grandparents. here is my grandmother again.

[ED] i received a copy of the current issue of the legendarily musical and nerdy magazine "Tape Op". if any of you reading this are music nerds you may already know about it. i'll sum it up for those outside of "the know" (as i was even in very recent history)....tape op kicks ass and its important. its highly regarded in the music field.

well, not surprising to me (now), they wrote a piece on--rather, ran an interview with--Paleo, which many of you will remember was the dude i went on tour with during his amazing feat of writing, recording, and releasing a song every day for 365 consecutive days. yes, this interview is in the current issue, but more importantly to me is that they ran one of my photos for the story and whats more they ran it HUGE. it fills a substantial portion of the two-page (center fold!) spread.

to make up for some of the less flattering shots i've posted of my mom, here is one of us together looking fairly normal. love you mom, though its likely you'll never read that here.

also this is a rollei shot with me holding it upside down so i could trigger it with my thumb while not dropping it. trivia. free of charge.

so rob said to me after i posted this that i have taken more interesting shots for electric lion, and i certainly concede that. the point of posting this is its Really stupid. stupid often, and in this case, is fun. (weird wording, eh?)

placeholder. i got back in time to do an electric lion but forgot. but i did shoot today, but i turned my work machine off so i cant ssh in and post a photo.

incidentally im soon to head to portland and in sept it looks like i'll be traveling with the john yam.

im in monroe, la for a touch and have quite the gauntlet of things upcoming. this trip + some stuff for a local place + assisting my buddy + trip to oregon with The john yam. the settling. brilliant.

just got film in from july 4th. oh my god this cracks me up. my grandmother in part of the area surrounding their home.

this shot is more a snippet of ordinary life. nothing special but its fun for me to look at. 100%.

i wish i had a better angle but it was hard enough trying to get a "subtle" shot of this girl on a tiny bike.
