By the way I have not given up I am just in the absolute middle of nowhere for mothers day and effectively have no real access. Consider this a place holder for the weekend. I have been shooting though. Thats the important part. In fact today while shooting my granddad and sister working the bees. Yep. Working the bees. I need to get a great shot of my gdad while I am here. Note to self: do that.

so today has been another day filled with feeding my farmer's tan and belly and playing scrabble on facebook.

took a fairly generic photo of the "southern most point" of the US. apparently a wee 90 miles to cuba. thinking about cuba makes me wanna watch scarface

perhaps i will come back later and plug that image in. maybe ill plug something else in this post. for now i am away from home so it waits..again.

but hey im still shooting.

so today is the third-of-the-way-there mark!

pretty exciting for me mostly because it means i have stuck to it for a long time...longer than anything else i've tried to do consistently in a while.

i am heading out to town tomorrow morning for a long weekend photographing in key west so updates may be more placeholders than anything. this may be a fact that goes more or less unnoticed but i figured i'd say it anyway.

anyway..most of the time i photograph jason he tries to act hard and then says he is trying to do an impression of me. what can i say, im a badass. kidding. seriously kidding.

so, much like Day 22 (today being day 122), here is jason wallis, laughing.

tomorrow is day 122 which means electric lion is 1/3rd done. i've got a winner for tomorrow but for now here is a yet another of ye ole alan barton..looking hottttt. jill..if you read this in chile, this is what you're missing.

well i am awaiting film to get back to me. i had a shot i was working on for today but i am not satisfied with it and i don't really want to post it, nor do i have other things at present to post. tried a couple of self portraits today but we'll see if they have any value. we'll see what comes in with the next round of stuff. until then, unless i shoot something digital specifically to post here, you may get a couple of placeholders. all 4 of you.

i take this shot too often perhaps but i cant help it. maybe its that i've seen it for three years and its comfortable in a fairly weird life. who knows.

what i know is that i havent gotten the hell out of town nearly enough on my own terms lately. june, watch out.
