If you’re unfamiliar with her story, Lulu survived a shark attack last year and her recovery and activism since then is nothing short of remarkable.
She is @southernlivingmag’s 2025 Southerner of the Year and I was delighted to photograph her for the story. There’s a link to the story on their feed and in the December issue.
